We are proud to call Seattle our home. We have lived here our entire lives and have deep roots in the community. We have a deep appreciation for the people, natural beauty, and unique culture of Seattle. The city is truly one of a kind, and we couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. As residents of Seattle, we understand the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. This is why we have made it our mission to provide sustainable landscaping services to the community. We strive to create beautiful outdoor spaces that not only enhance the aesthetic of the city but also promote the health of the environment. Sustainable

Sustainability is a multi-faceted concept that encompasses a wide range of applications. While many people today tend to think of climate change and carbon footprint when it comes to sustainability, it encompasses much more. Sustainability is not just about the global impact, but also about creating ongoing excellence within oneself, one’s family, neighborhood, town, and city. It is about taking a holistic approach to how we interact with our team, customers, suppliers, and environment. It is about making responsible decisions that have a positive impact on the world today and for future generations. At Seattle Sustainable Landscapes, we understand the importance of sustainability and strive to incorporate it into everything we do, from our work to our interactions with others.

Adrianna Scott

Landscape Designer

Adrianna, a University of Washington graduate in Landscape Architecture, specializes in eco-friendly design with native plants and pollinator-friendly landscapes. With a background in environmental consulting design, she combines creativity, sustainability, and a resourceful approach, to craft outdoor living spaces that are both beautiful and thoughtful. 

A lifelong Washington resident, she enjoys Seattle’s vibrant food scene and outdoor activities, such as paddle boarding.

Bernardo Willis

Irrigation Division Manager

Bernardo is a well-rounded leader in overall landscape construction and installation, with 20+ years of experience in the industry. He serves as the Division Manager for our Irrigation Division, also providing standalone estimates and repairs for drainage and outdoor lighting.

Evan Riggs

Account Manager – Yard Care

Born and raised in the Seattle area, Evan has always loved the outdoors and exploring everything our region has to offer. After graduating from the University of Washington, he gravitated toward customer-facing work where he could connect with people and help them feel taken care of. In his current role, he focuses on building genuine relationships and making the client experience seamless.

When he’s not supporting clients, Evan enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, running up and down the many hills of Seattle, and cheering on his Huskies and Mariners.

Fernanda Varela

Landscape Designer

Fernanda graduated from the University of Washington’s Landscape Architecture department. She has always known she had a passion and eye for design, and later discovered her niche in residential landscape design through her time in school. Growing up in the PNW from the age of 5, she had always held a great appreciation for the outdoors. Designing using natural, living elements and creating beautiful spaces for people’s  experience is her favorite part of her job. 

Fernanda’s favorite day of the week is Sunday, when she spends her day strolling Seattle’s neighborhoods looking for the perfect brunch spot.

Johanna Steele

Account Manager

Johanna graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and Sustainability. With a background in field ecology and landscaping, she’s stoked about working with native ecosystems in urban spaces. A big people person, Johanna loves connecting with clients and helping them achieve the yard of their dreams.

When she’s not at work, you’ll usually find her playing fiddle, heading out on a trail run, or taking any excuse she can to be near the water.

Kenneth Loredo

Customer Support & Admin Coordinator

Kenneth supports the team through customer service, coordination, and day-to-day administrative operations. He enjoys being the bridge between clients and crews, ensuring every project starts with clarity and ends with satisfaction. In his free time, Kenneth loves music, learning new skills, and discovering good food spots around the city.

Oscar Agapito

Project Manager

A Washington native from the Yakima Valley, Oscar brings a foundation in design, stemming from the Landscape Architecture program at Washington State University. His perspective is deeply informed by his family’s experience with Habitat for Humanity, which sparked his interest in the built environment. Now focusing on project management, Oscar has transitioned his creative and organizational skills into leading collaborative projects to successful completion. 

Oscar enjoys staying active outside of work playing soccer, tennis and weight training. When he’s not out, catch him at any nearby movie theater enjoying a tub of popcorn.

Ray Bellavance

Director of Business Development

Ray has always been passionate about people. He got his first B in first grade because his teacher stated “He’s a little chatty.” Today that natural love of conversation has evolved into a strength. Ray focuses on building lasting relationships and dreaming with clients helping bring their outdoor visions to life. His background spans from growing up working on a farm and in his father’s construction company to nearly 15 years in real estate and sales. Ray brings a grounded, people-first approach to every project. 

Outside of work, you’ll find him cheering for his favorite hockey team the Boston Bruins, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his wife and their dog, Coco.

Sandra Pederiva

Marketing Coordinator
Based in Mendoza, Argentina, Sandra collaborates remotely with our team, bringing a perspective shaped by years in creative marketing and wine tourism. She loves communication that is relevant, emotional, and visually engaging, and aims to be brief yet impactful in everything she creates. Inspired by diversity, she looks for the unique details that elevate us—as brands and as people. When she’s not crafting stories, you’ll find her in nature, visiting vineyards, trekking in the mountains, or cycling around.
